Heather Fleming, MSW, CSW
Heather Fleming graduated from Utah State University with her Masters and Bachelors in Social Work. Heather is a Certified Social Worker and is proficient working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, couples, and veterans struggling with a wide array of mental health disorders, and tailors the experience to be unique to each client.
Heather has worked as a social worker for the past 16 years in the Salt Lake and Box Elder counties, practicing in various areas, including mental health, medical social work, long term care, hospice, and Child & Family Services.
This has given her a well-rounded background & skill set unique to life’s various situations. Heather also has a daughter who battles chronic illness, a military veteran spouse with PTSD, who is also a cancer survivor. Heather can empathize with those who are suffering from chronic or mental illness or are feeling burned out due to the demands of care giving.
Heather specializes in anxiety, bipolar, and depressive disorders, with additional clinical background treating schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, personality disorders, chronic illness, trauma, PTSD, and grief and bereavement. Heather focuses on the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy. She uses a variety of methods to make each client’s experience productive. Heather lives in Brigham City with her husband and loves spending time with her three children and grandchildren, as well as reading, camping, and traveling.
